Overview
Observa is designed to help you understand patterns in your health data, including sleep, recovery, activity, and energy. Privacy is a core part of the app’s design. This policy explains what information Observa processes, how it is used, and the choices you have.
Data Collection
Observa processes the data available through Apple Health that you choose to grant access to, such as sleep, heart rate, activity, and related metrics. This data is used to generate insights, trends, and summaries within the app. Observa does not require account creation and does not collect personal information for advertising or tracking purposes.
Data Storage & Processing
By default, all data is stored locally on your device. If you enable iCloud sync, your data may be securely stored in your personal iCloud account and synced across your devices using Apple’s infrastructure. Observa does not operate external servers to store your health data.
Third-Party Services
Observa does not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. Apple may process limited data as part of services you choose to use, such as Apple Health, local notifications, in-app purchases, iCloud sync, or device-level intelligence features.
Health & Sensitive Data
If you connect Apple Health, Observa may read health-related data such as sleep, heart rate, activity, and other metrics via HealthKit. This data is used only to generate insights inside the app. Observa does not sell, share, or use health data for advertising, and health data is never transmitted to third-party marketing services.
Children’s Privacy
Observa is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page, and the “Last updated” date will be revised accordingly.
