RightSplit is designed to help you split bills quickly and fairly. Your financial information and personal data remain yours. This policy explains what information RightSplit processes, how it is used, and the choices you have.
Data Collection
RightSplit processes information that you choose to provide in order to split bills. This may include receipt images, bill items, amounts, tip calculations, and names selected from your contacts when creating a bill split. Receipt images are used to detect items and totals to help generate a bill split. This information is used only to provide the core functionality of the app, including receipt scanning, bill splitting, and sharing payment requests.
Data Storage & Processing
By default, all data created in RightSplit is stored locally on your device. RightSplit does not operate servers that store your bill data or receipts. If you choose to share payment requests with friends, the message content is generated on your device and sent using the communication service you choose, such as text message or WhatsApp. If you use iOS features such as backups or iCloud device backups, your data may be included according to your device settings.
Third-Party Services
RightSplit does not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The app may interact with system services provided by Apple, such as Contacts (if you choose to select people from your address book), the Camera or Photos library for receipt scanning, and messaging apps for sharing bill results. These services operate according to their own privacy policies.
Children’s Privacy
RightSplit is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page, and the effective date will be updated accordingly.
