Overview
LiftLog is a design-led strength training log for iPhone. Privacy is a core principle of the app and is treated with the same care as the rest of its design. This policy explains what information LiftLog processes, how it is used, and the choices you have.
Data Collection
LiftLog processes the information you choose to enter into the app, such as workouts, exercises, sets, repetitions, weights, training notes, programs, and preferences. LiftLog does not collect or transmit personal data to external servers for advertising or tracking purposes.
Data Storage & Processing
All workout data and preferences are stored locally on your device. LiftLog has no cloud sync. Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets read a small summary that the app saves in a shared folder on the same device. Backups and CSV exports leave the device only when you share them yourself. LiftLog does not operate its own servers for storing workout data, and Lagerland Apps never receives a copy.
Third-Party Services
LiftLog does not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. Apple processes limited data as part of services you choose to use, such as App Store purchases, Siri and Shortcuts, Apple Health, and local notifications.
Health & Sensitive Data
If you turn on Apple Health export, LiftLog writes each finished workout and an estimate of its active energy to Apple Health through Apple’s HealthKit framework. LiftLog does not read any data from Apple Health. LiftLog does not sell, share, or use health data for advertising purposes.
Children’s Privacy
LiftLog is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page, and the “Last updated” date will be revised accordingly.
